Victoria Park is a reserved forest range in the heat of Bhavnagar city. This park is one of the oldest man made forest in India and thus its maintenance is prioritized by the Indian government. The government has taken the entire responsibility to maintain this beautiful park in Bhavnagar. Victoria Park is spread across a sprawling 500 acres of land which is filled with rare species of flora and fauna. The park is also connected to Gaurishankar lake and the lake view from the park is spectacular and this spot is highly popular among the tourists.

Victoria park is in a semi arid zone which experiences severely high temperatures during summer and low temperatures during winters. Thus, leading  to growth of thorny, scrubby and xerophytic vegetation. The average rainfall received by it is about 500 mm. This park has about 422 plants and 100 species of fauna.  The trees in the forest makes up about 16.35 % of the total vegetation while the herbs makes about 57.11 %. The biggest species found in this park are Leguminoceae and Poaceae.
